Hosts
Villa Kastell B&B is owned and run by hosts Hanne Dahl and Henning Kastell
Our history
Villa Kastell B&B forms part of our home which we acquired in 2018 from Erik and Dorte Søemod, the developers of the villa.
The villa is designed by architectural firm Flening og Søby with additional ideas by the previous owner’s brother who is an architect in Spain. The villa was built by local craftsmen in 1992 and has a total floor area of 567 m2, of which 247 m2 are used as B&B.
The villa was constructed as an energy-efficient building in which the floors are heated mainly by geothermal energy. The villa uses solar energy and is almost self-sufficient.
We have also installed a rainwater tank which is used for flushing our toilets, doing the laundry and watering the garden.
The villa has the most beautiful Mediterranean-style patio area and sits within a park-like garden of approx. 3500 m2 where long and wide beech hedges wind around sculptures.
